“I originally wrote this song when I was 14 on a sheet music site for piano, when I was working towards becoming a classical composer. I abandoned that dream about a year later and turned towards electronic music production. Coming back to my childhood house during quarantine I dug the sheet music out and fully produced the track, note by note. This was something I'd never really done before at all, it opened a lot of . It really saw a new life. I’d been following Sintia for a while, I heard ‘Dirty Streets’, watched the music video, and fell in love with the depth of her tone. She’s an incredible singer and brought so much power and emotion to the song.”


The lyrics centre around peoples views of emotion. I've always been seen as sensitive and told that I feel things so much deeper than is necessary. 'Don't Tear Me Down Of M Feelings' is a demand to all the people in my life who have looked past my emotions and ignored my deep-set hurt as too soft, gay or selfish. The attitudes of toxic masculinity and homophobia really shape you as a person, especially when you experience them at such a young age.
